As photographers, our creative process embraces multitudes of options. Once wet-darkroom limited for image production, surfaces were restricted to light sensitive materials.
Let's move into the light and begin layering image, surface, and in particular: text.
Participants: please bring to workshop:
13 pieces of 11"x14" paper:
Examples: pre-printed photographs (darkroom or ink jet), newspapers, repurposed book pages, ephemera, etc.
One empty 11"x14" photopaper box
Participants collectively author text (sentence/phrase)
Participants print hand-inked text on participant-supplied surfaces
Editioned portfolios distributed to participants
