Tema Stauffer will present an artist talk focusing on her recent body of work exploring the community, culture, landscape and architecture of one of the oldest regions in the country. UPSTATE, a forthcoming hard cover book with thirty-three color photographs and two essays published by Daylight Books, captures sublime elements, while also recording the imprint of American industrial and agricultural history and shifting economic realities on settings throughout this region.
