Michael Zuhorski is an artist and educator who works primarily with photography, incorporating text and sculpture. They were born in 1992 in Detroit, Michigan. Michael holds a BFA from the College for Creative Studies, in Detroit, and an MFA in Art Photography from Syracuse University. They currently teach photography at The Putney School, in Putney, Vermont. Michael's work is concerned with the relation between place and subjectivity, novel ways to represent time, and how sustained attention can change the shape the world takes.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
