Abigail Smithson is a multi-media artist living in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born in California and received her B.A. in studio art from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Currently pursuing her MFA in photography from Louisiana State University, her work focuses on the subjects of femininity, symbolism and fragility. She is also the author of The Photographer Discloses, a blog where she speaks with contemporary photographers about their current projects.
