Fengyi Xu was born and raised in China, where she studied literature at Northwestern University in Xi'an. She immigrated to the United States and earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from Bowling Green State University in 2025. Her work has been featured in national and international juried exhibitions, including Manifest Gallery's 18th Annual MASTER PIECES exhibition and the 2025 Alternatives Photography Biennial Exhibition at Ohio University.
