Revitalizing a Lost Art: Wet-Plate Portraits on Location

Workshop

Saturday, October 26 - 10:00AM to 11:30AM
NPC Lawn

In this hands-on workshop, the presenter will demonstrate contemporary approaches to making tintype portraits on location. After a brief discussion of the history, and an overview of the process, participants will be invited make tintype portraits of each other using a 4x5 camera. The presenter plans to set-up outside using a portable darkroom, and will provide all materials for the workshop.
