Hot Springs, Arkansas is located in the Ouachita Mountains, about 1 hour south of the capital city, Little Rock. Known for its thermal springs and historic bathhouses, Hot Springs is also a great place to hike and bike on the trails in Hot Springs National Park. Cultural attractions include the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, the Gangster Museum of America, and the Hot Springs National Park Cultural Center with artwork from the park's Artist-in-Residence Program. Nearby Lake Ouachita State Park is a perfect place to enjoy canoeing or kayaking.

If you plan to fly to Hot Springs, the closest airport is 1 hour away in Little Rock. In addition to rental cars and taxis, there are shuttles available via Intercity Transportation.
