Worlds That Don't Require Escape: Archive and Image as Transportation
Ricky Weaver is an image-based artist, educator, and mother whose artistic practice tends to the nuances of Black life as it relates to language. She received her BFA from Eastern Michigan University and her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She teaches in the Photography Department at Wayne State University.
