Finding artistry again through parenthood, this presentation will be a discussion of the rich history of the family portrait in the United States and the domestic realm as a long-standing place of photographic creative exploration, specifically for women and other marginalized groups. We can renew our passion for photography and start again anew, as these changed versions of ourselves. It might even feel entirely necessary to meet the calling of our powerful new emotions and experiences
