Kris Sanford is an assistant professor at Central Michigan University. She has exhibited internationally, including exhibitions in Amsterdam, Boston, Chicago, London, and New York. Her art explores queer relationships through the use of appropriated images, portraiture, and video. She is the Midwest Chapter Representative for the SPE LGBTQ Caucus.
