Rapheal Begay is a Diné photographer and curator from the Navajo Nation. Currently he is based in Window Rock, AZ where he works with the Navajo Nation Division of Human Resources. Simultaneously, he is also prepping for two upcoming solo exhibitions and a panel discussion at the 2019 NAISA Conference at the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand. As a creative professional, Rapheal seeks to explore the past, create the present, and curate the future with love and art in mind. Past projects include the curation of both the Gathering of Queer Nations III & IV; several solo/group exhibitions within the Southwest; and presentations at Santa Fe Indian Market and the 21st Diné Studies Conference.
