Donna Cooper Hurt worked as a documentary and medical photographer before earning an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Donna has received grants from Alternate ROOTS in Atlanta, GA. and the Greenbelt Urban Grant program in South Carolina. She has exhibited nationally and internationally. Donna is an adjunct assistant professor at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina and she taught for six years at the Art Institute of Charleston.
