Corralling Popular Imagery: 19th and 20th Century Visual Albums
David Freund (MFA, Visual Studies Workshop, University at Buffalo, the State University of New York) is represented by the Joseph Bellows Gallery in La Jolla, California. He has exhibited at New York City's Light Gallery, and at the George Eastman House. His work is in the collections of the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris; and the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Freund's grants include the National Endowment for the Arts and New York's Creative Artists Public Service Program. He has been photography judge for the Fulbright program and served on the Board of Directors of The Society for Photographic Education.
