Scott Sternbach is the Director of the Photography program at LaGuardia Community College, City University of New York.
Scott Sternbach's work has been published in The New York Times, Swiss Jazz Magazine, and New York Magazine. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including the American Cultural Center in Senegal, Dakar and the archive of Walt Disney Studios. Sternbach has traveled extensively to document remote areas of Mexico, the Yukon Territory, Alaska, Costa Rica and most recently, the Antarctic and Patagonia. He was awarded the National Science Foundation Antarctic Artists and Writers grant. He has presented on board the National Geographic Endeavour and the Antarctic project was on exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
