Mapping Multiplicities: Body as Projected Site -- 1PM (Collaborative Making)
I teach, collaborate, and make work to provide a platform to discuss photography's role in moving us towards a more socially just society and globe. I have been making photographs ever since I turned my high school counselor's bathroom into a darkroom, over 25 years ago. Making rather than taking photographs in the context of community engagement guides my art practice. I earned my BA from Bard College in Community Regional Environmental Studies in 1997 and my MFA from San Jose State University in 2010.
