Alison Carey's work explores the landscapes of Earth, Moon and Ocean. Her photographic constructs are influenced by biology and paleontology, natural history, and the geology of our planet and moon. Carey is an Associate Professor at Columbia College Chicago where she has been teaching photography for the past 11 years. She has an MFA from University of New Mexico and a BFA from School of Visual Arts, NYC. Carey exhibits her work in art and science museums throughout the USA. She is interested in reviewing work from grad students and undergraduate students, particularly those who are thinking about applying to graduate school.
