Osmara Jaquez identifies as an eighteen years old Chicana and alumni of George Washington High School. During high school she conducted protests and guided students in social activism as well as participating in Gallery 37 Advanced Arts Program. Her family runs a small restaurant in the Chicago suburbs while living in Hegewisch for 24 years.
