Storytelling Through the Lens: Youth Media Education at UCR ARTS

Lindsey Hammel is the Director of Education and Public Programs at UCR ARTS California Museum of Photography and the Culver Center of the Arts. She has over twelve years of experience in museum education and previously worked at the Birmingham Museum of Art in Alabama. She earned a BA in English with a minor in Art History from the University of Montevallo and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cultural Studies with a Museum Studies Interdisciplinary Concentration at Claremont Graduate University. Lindsey is passionate about creating dynamic, socially engaged programs in collaboration with artists, activists, and scholars.
