Reimagining Mapplethorpe : Examining Queer Representation in Formal Portraits.
Lizzie Salacinski obtained their bachelor's degree in photography from Montana State University, thier work has been nationally represented in Montana, Oragon and Kansas, and primarily focuses on portraiture with strong influences from historical photographers. Salacinski is currently enrolled as a master's student for art history at Montana State, and researches queer photographers from the 20th and 21st Centuries.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
