The Bifurcated Self

These experimental self-portraits bear witness to the body when it has given all that it has, is all touched out and is utterly exhausted. The process of image transfers mimics the textures of skin and creates a bifurcated visceral, painterly image that is neither a photograph nor a painting but somewhere in between.
