The St. Louis Print Study Room Tour (Friday, 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM) provides the opportunity for SPE Conference Attendees to have intimate and guided viewing sessions of the photography collections at the Saint Louis Art Museum in Forest Park, Kemper Art Museum, and the Special Collections at the Olin Library, both on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. Once the tours are completed, the tour groups will join the rest of the conference at the exhibition receptions on the Washington University in St. Louis campus.
This Friday Afternoon event is in concert with Saturday's panel, "Print Study Room, Study Hall, Print Study for All – A Pedagogical Tool Kit." (Saturday, 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM). Once registered for Friday's event, attendees will be divided into groups of 15 or fewer to tour each venue; at each study room, the group will be hosted by the institution's staff and a panelist. Members must register for The Saint Louis Print Study Room Tour in advance, as there are limited spots.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
