What She Carries With Her: Investigating Women's Interwar Travel Narratives
Salena Parker is a doctoral candidate at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. She also teaches Composition and World Literature courses at Collin College. In the past decade, she has taught English abroad in Ghana, Russia, and Japan. She has published works in CCTE Studies, University of Glasgow Arts & Sciences Journal, National Geographic Travel, and TEJASCOVIDO. Her current research interests include travel writing, magical realism, women's life writing, and multimodal pedagogy.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
