Meghan Kirkwood is an Assistant Professor of Photography at Washington University in St. Louis. She uses photographic series and art historical research to explore how artistic representations of land can generate awareness of environmental issues, support environmental planning research, promote reflection about our relationship to natural environments, and augment public conversation about land use and natural resource extraction.
