Leah Schretenthaler was born and raised in Hawaii. Her artistic research presents a connection between land and materiality. Her work has been displayed and published nationally and internationally. She was awarded the Rhonda Wilson Award from Klompching Gallery, LensCulture's 2018 Emerging Talents, and placed 2nd in Sony World Photography Awards.
