Caprice Lawless is Co-president of the American Association of University Professors Colorado Conference. She taught English for 22 years at Front Range Community College, the first 10 of those while working full-time in corporate communications. Under her leadership, the AAUP chapters she started in the Colorado Community College System had two bills before the state legislature advocating all faculty -- full-time and adjunct -- receive equal pay for equal work. She has spearheaded numerous trouble-making publications such as The Adjunct Cookbook, The Adjunct Coloring Book, and The Adjunct Index. She has M.A. degrees in Education and in Journalism, and a B.A. in Communications.
