Queer Masculinity in the South
Saturday, October 17 - 4:30PM to 5:15PM
Honeysuckle is a collection of landscape images and portraits that seeks to establish where queer masculinity fits within the social, cultural, and physical landscapes of the South. Brennan Booker uses portrait making as a way of carving out a temporal space that allows queer people to freely and openly exist. This presentation is focused on the redefining characteristics of queer masculinity, and how sexuality, and gender expression can find their home.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
