Jessica Ingram (b. 1977 Nashville, TN) received degrees in photography and political science from NYU and her MFA from California College of Arts and Crafts. She is Associate Professor in Graduate Fine Arts and Undergraduate Photography at California College of the Arts, and Chair of the Photography Program. Jessica's publishes and exhibits internationally. Her work is currently included in Southern Accent: Seeking the American South in Contemporary Art, curated by Trevor Schoonmaker and Miranda Lash, at the Nasher Museum (NC), traveling to the Speed Museum in 2017 (KY). She was awarded the 2012 Santa Fe Prize. Her work has been published in The New York Times, GUP Magazine, OjodePez, Etiqueta Negra, and The California Sunday Magazine. Jessica has received multiple large-scale public art commissions, including, University of Notre Dame, the Birmingham International Airport in Alabama; Oakland International Airport, Oakland Museum of California, and SF Camerawork. Along the Way was an Official Selection at the Sundance Film Festival.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
