Author of, Architecture for Travelers and Photographs Taken at One-Hour Intervals During a Walk from Galveston Island to the West Texas Town of Marfa
Joshua Edwards will discuss his interdisciplinary and collaborative projects that utilize photography as an extension or augmentation of poetry, including "Architecture for Travelers", centered on his two-month walk across Texas, from Galveston to Marfa. Two books were published from the project- one of photography, one of poetry. The mid-way point for the walk in "Architecture for Travelers" was Edward's family home in Kerrville, 8 miles from the conference location.
