Considerations

The Foundry Art Centre is a Community Art Centre with fine art galleries overlooking the Missouri River in historic Saint Charles, Missouri. The non-for-profit space features state-of-the-art exhibition spaces hosting juried exhibitions of national and international artists. The mezzanine level of the FAC features 20 working artists' studios where visitors can watch and partake in the creative processes of local artists, with FAC's Gift Shop featuring these local artists best work for the public to take home with them. The Grand Hall may be rented for events such as weddings and reception up to 300 guests, as well as corporate events such as fundraisers and holiday parties. Along the sides of the Gand Hall are the Baue and Ameristar Galleries; the Baue Children's Gallery features artwork made by kids from local elementary, middle, and high school districts; the Ameristar Gallery features artists from around the country who are up and coming as a part of FAC Emerging Artists Series which changes and correlates with the Main Gallery exhibitions. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 10am-8pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm, and Sunday from 12pm-4pm. Admission is free and donations are warmly appreciated. For more information, call 636-255-0270 or visit www.foundryartcentre.org.

Evaluation Criteria
