Exhibit of Works of Functional Art

UTILITY is a competitive international exhibition of works exploring the theme of works that function. Works selected will represent some point of view relative to this theme. We are eager to share how artists incorporate utility into their work, and how designers or craftspeople elevate the products of their labor with skill, sophisticated content, or a high degree of formal or creative refinement. Our goal is that this exhibit will result in a wide range of types of work, all aligning to the criteria that every piece must be functional. Works may be in any media, 2D or 3D, however functionality or utility must be an aspect of any submission.

Fees

$40 for up to three entries submitted. $10 per each additional entry. Fees are non-refundable. Number of entries is unlimited. For the purposes of this process an 'entry' is an individual work of art, regardless of number of images used to represent it in this submission. Entry fee must be paid by U.S. check or money order made payable to MANIFEST, or by credit card via PayPal. (If paying by PayPal PLEASE use the paypal link provided on the page that follows the submission of the online entry form.)

Awards

ANNUAL CASH AWARD: The annual Manifest Grand Jury Prize will result in the awarding of one significant cash prize ($2500) to a single work selected as the 'best of the entire season'.
