The Second Latin American Contemporary Fine Art Competition - May 21st to June 25th, 2019

The competition offers artists from Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, the Latin American diaspora and foreign artists living in Latin America the unique opportunity to present their art to an international audience in the famous art district of Chelsea, in New York City.

Prizes (valued at $ 55,000) include participation in an exhibition in New York City, participation in an art fair in the United States, online promotion opportunities and cash prizes. A panel of juries specialized in Latin American art will review all the entries in search of great talent.

Eligibility

The competition is open for Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, the Latin American diaspora, or foreign artists living in Latin America. All Latin American artists above the age of 18 are eligible to participate.

Requirements

Each artist must submit a minimum of 5 images. The images may be part of a series or individual artworks.
All entries must be accompanied by a title.

Painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital, printing, and mixed media are eligible. Please note that all submitted artwork must be available for sale.

ARTmine Exposure and Persinal Artist Statement

Considerations

Video art, film, performance art, jewelry, and crafts are not eligible.

Evaluation Criteria

Judging will be based on the artwork images submitted by the participants.
