The Pasticheur

Literature, Art, and Ideas

The Pasticheur: Literature, Art, & Ideas   /   Deadline: 10/01/24

Download in PDF Format

The Pasticheur is an academic publication that accepts submissions on a rolling basis. We are interested in painting, fine art photography, short filmography, and other art forms.
We are a pastiche: a bit of art, photographic art, poetry, short filmography, prose, and non-fiction writing.
The growing collection of cultural artifacts offered in our journal has been selected from submissions as well as from seeking out specific artists. All contributors retain their copyright and can share and/or resubmit their work elsewhere. This is not a commercial publication but rather a forum where artists may freely share their work and, with it, their views on the universe. Each piece included in The Pasticheur is a metaphor for something else and, as a metaphor, it has no specific meaning attached to it once published; it is a redescription of a redescription of a redescription, and yet, it supplies a better understanding of the human self and the world that surrounds us.
