The Hand Magazine celebrates the hand of the artist in reproduction-based arts. Hand made photographs, alternative process, darkroom, printmaking, mixed media, collage, film and video are all accepted. The artist's hand is also visible in the arrangement of the subject matter, still life, tableau, narrative, and experimental work.

Location

The Hand is based in Kansas City, MO. Submissions are accepted world-wide.

Fees

No charge for subscribers, $15 for others

Eligibility

Everyone is eligible

Requirements

Five images, submission form, and payment (free for subscribers)

Evaluation Criteria

Special considerations are made for work that is made with a high level of technical skill, as well as for it's uniqueness, individuality, experimental, or idiosyncratic nature.
