JUROR | KAT KIERNAN

Kat Kiernan ia the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Don't Take Pictures magazine, as well as the Director of Panopticon Gallery in Boston, Massachusetts.

Her writings have appeared in numerous publications, most recently in the book The Artist as Culture Producer: Living and Sustaining a Creative Life (Intellect Books, 2017). Kat received the Griffin Museum of Photography's Rising Star Award in 2015 for her contributions to the photographic community. Her photographs have been exhibited across the United States, and Photoboite Agency named her one of 2012's 30 women photographers under the age of 30 to watch. Kat divides her time between Brooklyn, New York and Boston. She holds a BFA in photography from Lesley University College of Art and Design.

Eligibility

The Call for Entrée is open to all photographers world wide, both amateur and professional. All mediums are invited.

Requirements

* You can submit up to 5 images.
* Submitted prints should not be bigger than 5x7" or 6x6".
* Try to avoid type if sending promo cards.
* If you send original artwork, please sign it on the back and specifically mention that it's for The Curated Fridge. All the original artwork will be saved after each Fridge Show. No artwork will be returned. By sending original artwork, you agree to all the above.
* Accepted images will be posted on The Curated Fridge website and social media.

* Image specifications: 1280 on the longest side, 72 ppi, sRGB, .jpg
* Name your .jpgs like this: Mary_Jones_1, Mary_Jones_2 etc...
* Please, do not send .zip files
* Finally, include a link to your website (if any).

Again, you have to mail your prints AND email the .jpgs. The curator will be judging your images by printing quality as well as artistic, and will be installing the show on the fridge. The .jpgs will be used for promoting your work on the website and social media.
