So Close

International Online Juried Group Exhibition

Side x Side Contemporary   /   Deadline: 06/04/20

Download in PDF Format

Side x Side Contemporary is pleased to announce it's first open call for an online juried group exhibition, So Close. So Close refers to a state of unity, of being united or joined together, but also to the idea of a near miss, the almost, and not-quite-there. We are interested in seeing work interpreting various states of closeness or absence and offer a moment to investigate expectation, proximity, intimacy, vacancy, and omission.

We invite artists to interpret this theme in relationship to space, process, representation, or material. We are asking artists to have their own interpretation and submit works that can address the theme of the exhibition formally and/or conceptually.
