Size Matters: A Juried Exhibition Celebrating Small Works
Accepting submissions July 1-31, 2019.

At Medium Photo, we haven't lost sight of the intimate power found in small photographic prints. Our signature exhibition of the Medium Festival of Photography is open to all subject matters and themes, and all types of photographic print media, as long as the image is 10″x10″ or smaller. Juried by Kai Caemmerer, Curator of Photography at SFO Museum. Awards include a coveted Purchase Award plus cash and prizes from our Festival partners. Selected works will be exhibited at Sparks Gallery in downtown San Diego during the Festival in October. https://www.mediumphoto.org/size-matters-exhibition

Location

Exhibition will take place at Sparks Gallery in downtown San Diego during the Medium Festival of Photography in October, 2019.

Fees

$35 / $60

Eligibility

Open to all artists regardless of age, gender, or expertise.

Requirements

Open to all subject matters and themes, and all types of photographic print media, as long as the image is 10″x10″ or smaller.

Awards

Juror's Choice receives: $500 Purchase Award (Winner's work is donated to a regional museum collection!)
Director's Choice receives: $250 cash award.
Visitor's Choice receives: $100 cash award.
Honorable Mentions receive: Gift packages from one of our Festival partners.
All selected artists will be listed in the 2019 Medium Festival program, and the public is invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday, October 19, 6-9pm.

Evaluation Criteria

Juried by Kai Caemmerer, Curator of Photography at SFO Museum.
