Midwest Center for Photography   /   Deadline: 09/01/24

Download in PDF Format

The Portfolio Platform provides the opportunity for photographers to showcase a portfolio of your photographic work prominently online at the Midwest Center for Photography website. Portfolio Platform provides the focus of a more streamlined online presence while we have shifted to more virtual gallery experiences. The portfolios will be available for patrons of the gallery to go online and view, learn about you and your work through your images and biography and artist statement, and have the opportunity to purchase your photographs. Each portfolio will consist of 12 - 20 images.

Selected artists will have their work featured for a period of six months online.

Portfolio Platform Feature Dates: November, 2024 - April, 2025.

Location

Midwest Center for Photography, 1215 Franklin, Wichita, KS 67203

Fees

$75 for 12 images

Eligibility

Open to all photographers internationally.

Requirements

To submit: Please follow the online instructions found at https://www.mwcponline.com/portfolio-platform-entry.html and submit .jpeg files and requested information to the gallery for consideration via email. Please note there is not an image upload form and simply email your images to the gallery email address.

Considerations

Selection will be based upon the thematic series of photographic work submitted by each artist rather than solely on individual images. A brief artist statement and bio are required.

Evaluation Criteria

Curator: Linda Robinson, Gallery Director, Midwest Center for Photography
