Open Call NXNE 2017

Open Call NXNE 2017 is a juried exhibition organized by BMAC that showcases established, mid-career, and emerging artists working in photography, video, and digital art.

Brattleboro Museum & Art Center   /   Deadline: 11/14/16

To apply for inclusion in Open Call NXNE 2017, submit an application form, images and/or video links, and a non-refundable application fee of $30 by Monday, November 14 at 11:59 p.m. (A discounted fee of $20 is available to BMAC members and members of several other organizations.)
Applications must be submitted online. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Eligibility

Open Call NXNE 2017 is open to all photographers and video and digital artists who live in New York or any of the six New England states (Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island). Eligible works must fit within BMAC’s Center or South Galleries, the ceiling heights of which are 9′-10” (Center Gallery) and 8′-0″ (South Gallery).

Considerations

Video or other time-based media artists must provide all technical equipment, e.g. screens, media players, speakers, projectors, etc. Artists whose work involves complex installation will be expected to facilitate the installation process in person.

Evaluation Criteria

All submissions will be reviewed and selections made by juror Bernard Yenelouis of L. Parker Stephenson Photographs, NYC. Selections will be announced by Wednesday, December 7.
