Open Call for Emerging Art Photography

Blow-Up Editions is a new site launching this spring. Our mission is to support the emerging art community through the sale of limited edition prints of emerging art photography.

We are holding an open call for our full site launch. Blow-Up is an artist nominated site but we are looking for our first 3 artists! If you are selected in addition to the week long flash sale your work will also be featured at our launch party/pop up show in NY. You will then nominate the next artist. It can be a friend or any emerging art photographer that you admire.

What makes Blow-Up different from other sites that offer limited edition prints is the use of flash sales. For a limited time, Blow-Up will feature the work of 3 artists. Giving the artists a chance to be in the spotlight and not lost amongst a sea of artwork. The limited edition prints of up to 8.5x11" will only be available during that limited time. The amount sold becomes the edition number with a maximum of 30 editions. Blow-Up also gives back to the emerging art community by donating a portion of all sales to an artist's or musicians crowdfunding campaign at the end of every flash sale.

Each artist will receive 70% of all sales after printing and shipping costs. Blow-Up will take $10 out of it's 30% and donate it to an emerging artist's crowdfunding campaign of our choosing. That campaign will be listed on our Support Art page.

Eligibility

Any artist who is not currently represented by a gallery and has an online portfolio is eligible.

Requirements

Please submit up to 5 images for consideration along with your artist statement to blowupeditions@gmail.com.

Awards

If selected you will be able to sell up to 3 prints through our platform. You will receive 70% of all sales after the cost of printing and shipping. You will also be featured at our launch party/pop up show in NY.
