On the Shelf

Filter Photo is pleased to announce an open call for a photo book exhibition, juried by artist and co-founder of SKYLARK Editions, Kelli Connell. On the Shelf is an open theme and Connell is interested in showcasing well conceived, original, and compelling photo books. Eligible entries include all types of photo books, whether self-published, handmade, or commercially published. Books by or featuring the work of more than one photographer/artist are also eligible. All are welcome to apply.

Eligible entries include all types of photo books, whether self-published, handmade, or commercially published. Books by or featuring the work of more than one photographer/artist are also eligible. All are welcome to apply. The entry fee is $20 for up to two books. Accepted artists are subject to their work being used to promote the exhibition under permission from the artist with an image credit.

Requirements

Book submissions must be arrive at Filter Photo by August 1. Shipping or hand-delivery is required and shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist. After the close of the exhibition, accepted artists can choose to have their books returned to them or donated to the Filter Photo book collection.

Awards

The Juror’s choice award comes with a $500 cash prize.
