nice; 01 will be our first iteration of a national juried annual physical exhibition, hosted at Northern State University's JFAC Gallery. This is an open theme. The exhibition will include a variety of mediums including but not limited to painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, and mixed-media art. This call is open to any medium and any subject matter. This exhibition will be juried by MidwestNice Art co-founders Tim Rickett (he/him) + Epiphany Knedler (she/her). A non-refundable fee of $15 will be charged for each entrant. This fee allows for a maximum of 2 works to be considered for this exhibition. An entry fee does not guarantee inclusion in the exhibition. Entries must be submitted by May 15, 2023 @ 11:59PM. Eligibility

Open to any artist over 18 years of age living within the United States. Any medium is allowed.

Requirements

A non-refundable fee of $15 will be charged for each entrant. This fee allows for a maximum of 2 works to be considered for this exhibition. An entry fee does not guarantee inclusion in the exhibition.

Awards

Awards will include a $150 First Place, $100 Second Place, $50 Third Place, an NSU JFAC Gallery Purchase Award, and 3 non-cash Honorable Mentions.
