The Nicollective / Deadline: 10/11/20
In the Spring of 2019, University of Arkansas MFA students Nicolette Bonagura and Nicole Norman created MILK, a zine publication that features work being made by students. The goal of MILK is to provide an accessible opportunity for students to expand their community and participate in the art world.
For MILK Volume 004, we are seeking photographic work being made by students at any stage in their career. ALL photographic mediums welcome -- analog, digital, alt process, collage, etc. Open call with no theme -- show us your best work!
Submitted works will be reviewed by jurors Tay Butler and Charles Krampah.
Tay Butler is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Houston, TX while teaching and studying in Fayetteville, AR. Currently an MFA candidate of the University of Arkansas' Photography and Studio Art program, he received his BFA in Photography and Digital Media from the University of Houston.
Charles Kweku Krampah started his career as a beauty and fashion photographer in Ghana, West Africa. He is currently living in Fayetteville, AR where he is working towards an MFA in Studio Art, Photography. Charles' work uses video and portraiture to capture the experience of being away from home and the impact it has had on relationships, self-perception, and faith.
