Calling emerging photographers to submit for this exhibition opportunity.

In the coming year of 2020 we will be featuring 20 photographers for the EMERGE competition. We are looking to give one $200 EMERGE Fellowship Award and exhibition opportunities to emerging photographers. This fellowship opportunity is geared toward photographers looking to launch their art careers through the exposure of exhibition. As emerging photographers, building an exhibition record is an important aspect in propelling your career, and we feel strongly about offering this annual exhibition to provide this opportunity to photographers. Professionally preparing a series of work, entering into galleries within the stated guidelines of gallery submissions, and through subsequently building an exhibition record is a major and essential aspect of building a career in art photography.

Build your exhibition record with this exhibition through entering your photographs and competing for a space in the gallery and the chance to be designated as the 2020 EMERGE photographer, and receive one-year artist representation at MWCP online.

Eligibility

Open to all emerging photographers nationwide in the USA. All photographic subject matter and media are welcome; digital inkjet prints, black & white gelatin silver prints, color c-prints, alternative processes, iphone photography, etc...

Requirements

To enter: Follow the online information at http://www.mwcponline.com/emerge-entry.html, please note that there is not an upload form and simply submit JPEG files to the gallery via email at info@mwcponline.org.

Awards

$200 Emerge Fellowship Award and one year artist representation at MWCP online.

Considerations

Selection will be considered from the series of photographs submitted by each artist rather than solely on individual images. A brief artist statement is optional.
