Mary Stanley Selects

Atlanta Photography Group will be accepting entries for its annual Selects Exhibition from August 3rd - September 11th. One of APG’s premiere exhibitions, Selects offers artists the opportunity to have their work added to the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia’s permanent collection along with an award of $500. Selects will be featured in the Festival Guide for Atlanta Celebrates Photography, the month-long, citywide photography festival. The show runs from October 23rd

Fees

2 images @ $35, 4 images @ $50, 6 images @ $75, 8 images @ $100

Eligibility

You must be a member of APG to enter.

Requirements

There is no theme for this exhibition. All photographic media accepted. You may submit up to 8 images. Visit APG's website for detailed submission guidelines and instructions: http://www.atlantaphotographygroup.org/.

Awards

Two artists may be selected for the permanent collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia as well as an award $500 each.

Evaluation Criteria

Selection of work for the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia Purchase Award at the discretion of Museum Director Annette Cone Skelton.

Juror: Mary Stanley

Mary Stanley is an independent curator, private art consultant and arts advocate. As a curator, she presents a variety of innovative contemporary art and photography exhibitions. Her Young Collectors Club ATL provides educational programming and social networking opportunity for young professionals interested in learning about and collecting contemporary art. Mary Stanley’s support, passion and dedication to photography has been instrumental in advancing many artists’ careers.
