Kris Graves Projects invites you to be part of our LOST II series of books. In 2018, +KGP collaborated with ten artists to produce a series of publications named LOST. Each artist was tasked with producing a visual study of a city or place that they call home or have been working in throughout their career. Nineteen artists have been confirmed as collaborators for our upcoming LOST II series, and +KGP is now seeking one final artist to participate in the book collection. The artist selection process will be juried by Hamidah Glasgow, Executive Director, Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, CO.

Requirements

- One photography project with up to 20 images (image size: max. 3000px on the long side, srgb)
- Project description with up to 250 words
- Biography and CV

Awards

WINNER RECEIVES
The selected artist will work with our juror and the director of +KGP to produce a book of their series, and will receive a full set of LOST II, including a slipcase designed for all 20 titles. The selected artist will also receive 15 book copies of their own project. +KGP will produce a total of 200 books of the selected artist's project.

FIVE SHORTLISTED PROJECTS RECEIVE
One LOST II book title of their choice (valued at $28)

Evaluation Criteria

ABOUT THE JUROR
Hamidah Glasgow, Executive Director and Curator at C4FAP since 2009. Hamidah's contribution to photography has included curatorial projects, national portfolio reviews including FotoFest, Photolucida, Medium, Center, Filter and more. She teaches professional development programs and is a contributor for national publications and magazines. Hamidah is also a co-founder of the Strange Fire Collective.

ABOUT
+KGP Kris Graves Projects collaborates with artists to create limited edition publications and archival prints, focusing on contemporary photography and works on paper. We focus all of our publications on current world issues including, but not limited to race, policy, social awareness, feminism, culture, and wealth. Our goal is to make books and prints affordable to every level of collector.
