LIGHT

An International Call for Works About Illumination, Exposure, and Brightness

Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center   /   Deadline: 09/10/19

Download in PDF Format

The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists to submit works which in some way address the theme of Light.

We open our eyes to it, are born into it. So much relies on what it reveals and gives. From vision of the world around us to messages sent through fiber optics, from starlight to the sunlight without which life on Earth would not be possible, light is life, awareness, and information.

Artists are encouraged to take a broadly creative view of the subject, but should address the general theme in some way, even if subtle and understated. This includes alternative meanings of the word, such as in 'jovial', 'not heavy', etc.

Location

Manifest Gallery2727 Woodburn AvenueCincinnati, OH 45206

Fees

$40 for up to FOUR entries submitted. $5 per each additional entry.
