LensCulture Earth Awards

The inaugural LensCulture Earth Awards is our first call for photography focused on the planet. We are awarding $25,000 in cash grants as well as video projections at international photo festivals, visibility with LensCulture Insiders, a Printed Annual and more. From artful and conceptual examinations of our diverse relationships to Earth, to journalistic exposs of environmental concerns or the stories of the good work being done to address them, photography is a force that defines how we see -- and live in -- the world.

Entry to these awards is ideal for all photographers from emerging to established, with no limitations on age or location.

Requirements

We invite entries from all over the world!

3 categories: Fine Art, Documentary, and an Open category.

First, Second, and Third Place Winners will be selected in each category, plus 25 Finalists.

Awards

- Exposure to over 500 photo industry insiders: curators, gallerists, editors, creative directors and publishers.
- Be included in video projections at photo festivals around the world.
- $25,000 in awards and opportunities for photographers to gain massive global exposure and career-changing recognition.
- Chance for immediate exposure in the LensCulture Competition Gallery.

Considerations

The 2015 LensCulture Earth Awards will identify today's top photographers whose work has a thematic focus on images inspired by our planet. Winning photographers will receive significant opportunities to broaden their influence in the photography community through career-changing exposure and benefits.

Evaluation Criteria

Submit up to 10 photos that work well together as a group - thematically, aesthetically, as a story, or simply as a range of your photographic talent. Edit your selections carefully, since this category will be judged on the strength of the group of photos as a whole, and not as individual photos. If you have multiple series of photos you wish to enter, please create a separate entry for each series.
