Art-Competition.net announces a Call to Artists for “Landscapes 2” an online international competition. $8,125 in Cash and Extensive Art Marketing Prizes. Deadline: August 2, 2016 (Midnight EST). The judges for this art call will be looking for artwork where the artist presents their unique vision of a landscape and also looks at the quality of composition and execution of the art. The power of landscape art is that the artist presents us with their unique interpretation of a landscape. We get to see the landscape from each of their emotional interpretations and perspectives. Perhaps the actual landscape itself is not as important as the many interpretations we are presented with by the fertile minds of artists. The challenge for the viewer is to find insight into the artists and how they are experiencing the land. The work can be expressed from representational to abstraction.

$20 for the initial entry and $10 for each additional image

Eligibility

Artists 18 years of age or older expressing themselves in any still art medium: painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, photography, digital art, fiber art, etc.

4th Place = $200
5th Place = $100
