The FLORIDA MUSEUM of PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS is pleased to launch its 6th International Photography Competition. We invite worldwide photographers to take part in the competition.

The Best in Competition Prize is a group exhibition and $1,000 cash. Additionally, there are three prizes per category and one People's Choice Prize.

The categories are:
1. People and Portraits
2. Places, Landscape, and Drone Photography
3. Nature, Science, and Animals
4. Documentary, Social and Political Photojournalism
5. Still Life
6. Abstract Photography
7. Conceptual Photography

Timeline:
Deadline for entries: April 17, 2016
Winner notification: May 3, 2016
Exhibition: June 10 until June 30, 2016

$10 per submission

Awards

Best in Competition:
- $1,000 cash
- Consideration for public art exhibition on billboard
- Group exhibition at FMoPA

People's Choice:

Evaluation Criteria

A juried panel will select winning photographs based on originality, technical excellence,
composition, overall impact, and artistic merit.
