FotoFest exhibition opportunity
Art League of Baytown / Deadline: 09/30/19
Theme for the Art League of Baytown (ALB) FotoFest 2020 competition is Imagery: Shadow and Light. There is no time limit for when a photo was taken. Entrants submit digital images of their work online via ArtCall.org.
Nudes will not be accepted into the competition, so do not enter them. If you enter a nude, it will be removed from consideration and you will not be reimbursed. Sorry, them's the rules.
Entrants will be notified of acceptance/declination by October 31, 2019. The FotoFest 2020 exhibition will be held in the Art Center at the Art League of Baytown from March 7 to April 18, 2020.
Juror for the competition is Catherine Couturier. Ms. Couturier is the owner and director of Catherine Couturier Gallery. Upon its inception, the gallery quickly evolved into the premier photography gallery in Houston and sits at the center of Gallery Row. Couturier reviews portfolios for organizations and festivals such as Photo Nola, Atlanta Celebrates Photography, and FotoFest, is a juror for Critical Mass, serves on the advisory council of Houston Center for Photography, and give lectures to artists and collectors alike on a myriad of subjects related to the field of fine art photography.

Open internationally, but must be over 18 to enter.
To apply, you must first create an account at ArtCall.org. You need only create the account once. If you have already registered with ArtCall you can simply log on to your existing account to submit your work.

2nd place - $250
3rd place - $150
3 Honorable Mention at $50 each
All selections will be made by the juror in October through the online submissions via ArtCall.org.
